Xanthus who?
Xanthus and Balius were, according to Greek mythology, two immortal horses, who pulled Chariots and were said to be able to speak human language.
Xanthus was a golden red colored horse and Balius was a white and black appaloosa horse.

After drawing their horse, the children were given options of flowers they wanted in their picture as well as the options of what kind of what color their horse would be….best part of art is that one drawing will never look the same as another drawing.

I wonder how many horse drawings I did growing up! There is something special about horses and I think adults as well as children feel that same nostalgic feeling when creating horse artwork.
